WHERE OUR WORK ASKS US TO GO

This work is powerful, challenging, emotional, real.

It pushes me all the time to grow in capacity for holding space, facing grief, engaging empathy and creating something as beautiful and true as possible from the realities of the end of a human life.

It's made me have to be as kind as possible to myself, as a human and artist, living in a space that says that I can't take someone else's pain away. I can only be present and compassionate and be an artist.

It makes you have to define the role of the artist on another level - it's one that demands great rigour and strength to meet your work where it asks you to go.
